Reliable Compressor Unit
The compressor unit is the ultimate in mechanical simplicity; two rotors turn at conservative speeds in an oil bath. Heavy-duty double-wall compressor casing provides low noise, structural rigidity, and long bearing life. Shaft seal is flange mounted and oil cooled for long life and easy maintenance. Hydraulic oil at discharge pressure provides simplified thrust balancing.
Efficient Operation
Infinitely variable capacity control, from 100% to 10% provides efficient part-load operation. Asymmeterical profile rotors also minimize power consumption.
Simple Oil System.
Injection oil circulation is by gas pressure – no injection oil pump. Bearing oil is supplied by compressor-mounted, shaft-driven pump. Oil cooler on water-cooled compressors has large-diameter tubes to minimize possibility of plugging and fouling. Mutli-stage separator minimizes oil carryover to guaranteed level.
